Our project has been powered by community researchers, community interviewers, and community storytellers.
We believe that everyone can be a historian (an explorer of the past) or an interviewer (a curious asker of questions).
To support you to become a historian or an interviewer, we’ve developed a series of Family Challenges. These are activities you can do at home, with your family, your friends or your neighbours.
Our Family Challenges are designed to support adults and children to connect, to learn more about their heritage, and to explore and think about how the place where you live has changed over time.
They encourage skills in listening, critical thinking, observation, empathy and creativity.
We’d love to see or hear the results of your challenges.
