Anna Georghiou was born in Torquay. Her paternal grandparents came to the UK from Cyprus in the 1960s. Anna now lives and works as an artist and holistic therapist in Okehampton, after attending university and living and working for a period in Cyprus. Anna considers her time in Cyprus to have been a particularly creative one, and an experience that helped her find her own artistic voice. Anna hopes for the future:
“That people respect, cherish, look after and love the beautiful magical environment”
which she has come to love in Okehampton.
In her interview, Anna talks about her grandparents’ move to the UK, her dual heritage, finding her artistic voice, and seeking inspiration in nature.
