Anthony Nderitu is a Religious Studies teacher at Tiverton High School. Born in Kenya, he gained a degree in Theology before moving between Botswana, Sweden and South Africa. He now lives near Exeter with his wife and son. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys walking on the moors, photography, and learning new languages. He describes his philosophy for living in new places:

“I have decided wherever I go, I will seek the welfare and the success of that community, for in its success there too, I shall be successful.”

In his interview, Anthony discusses his early life and education in Kenya, institutional racism, his love of languages, and taking Tiverton students to Kenya.
